Professional Bio

I am a solution orientated IT/Business Partner professional with 25+ years of working experience, 19 of those years in corporate settings of various sizes (4-100k) and various (9) industries. I am a technology savvy humanist. I believe the human element can and should be key component to a companyies' competitive advantage.

My professional experience has (and continues to be) focused on designing, building, and supporting fit to purpose business enabling solutions. The nature of the business has varied greatly and with that so has my experiences. I "grew up" in IT infrastructure and IT end user support, and from there my professional roles have varied either by design or by need. I believe that standards, processes, and any other structures are only as good as they are leveraged. For the past 6 years I have focused on relationship management with a focus on helping ensure fit to purpose solutions that are sustainable and can enable company growth.

My traditional educations focused on communications, multimedia, risk management and business continuity. My BA is from Marist College, and my MSM is from Boston University. In addition, over the years I have attended several instructor-led technical programs targeted at specific solutions (e.g. Veritas Netbackup, Microsoft Exchange, BMC Footprints, ZenDesk, Citrix), and have taught myself many more technical solutions (on-prem, hybrid, hosted).
